O presente trabalho apresenta a idealização e a concretização do maior centro de tratamento de superfície de Alumínio da América Latina, implementado pela Cia Brasileira do Alumínio - Votorantim Metais, para processos de tratamento de superfície e acabamentos para perfis de alumínio. Com o objetivo de disponibilizar e atender os segmentos de construção civil, transportes, indústrias de móveis entre outros, com as mais modernas tecnologias de tratamento de superfície, atendendo direto da fábrica com toda a gama de acabamentos existentes. Nesse projeto, destaca-se a nova planta de anodização da CBA, projeto ítalo-brasileiro que desenvolveu uma das maiores e mais modernas plantas de anodização de todo mundo.

This paper presents the idealization and implementation of the largest center for surface treatment of the aluminum in Latin America, implemented by the Cia.Brasileira do Alumínio - Votorantim Metals, for processes of surface treatment and finishing for aluminum profiles. With the goal of make available and attend on the segments of civil construction, transport, furniture industries among others, with the most modern technologies of surface treatment, attending factory direct with the full range of finishes as possibility nowadays. In this project, highlight the new anodizing plant of CBA, Italian-Brazilian project where was developed one of the largest and most modern plants of anodizing of the world.
